Things From Before - German

Before I started this blog I was posting my WWII stuff at This 28mm Life so there is a lot of 20mm WWII that hasn't made it to here.

So, I present to you a bunch of stuff that I made over the past few years:

Some DAK figures from Wartime Miniatures. Mixed in is an AB Figure so you can see they mix well together. Wartime are now defunct but Simon's Soldiers are carrying quite a lot of their old ranges.

These figures are plastic Fallschirmjager in Tropical Uniforms from Italeri. They are nice figures and although they are made from soft plastic the material is harder than the polyurethane of yesteryear.
Also the issue of paint peeling off is no longer a problem. Back in the day we used Humbrol enamel paints that had zero flex. These days acrylic paints do have flexible properties so they bend with the plastic.

I also have quite a few resin an diecast models in my collection. These field cars are both resin and the Pz IV's & Puma are diecast. The Pz IV's have since had paint jobs applied.

I seem to have very few photo's of my German infantry. These ones are early war from Zvezda. Very nice figures.

And last of all is a bunch of hard plastic Valiant German infantry. I actually sold these figures off because the size was way off. Too large for 1/72 and too small for 28mm. It's a real shame because these are really nice figures and a single box of them provides all you need for a standard late war German platoon with heavy weapons support.

So that's some of the other German stuff that I made pre-This WWII Blog. Thee is much more including all my late war infantry, but I don't have any pics of them. Wait a minute... Here's some game shots from a couple of years back:

Prost!
