I made some terrain features for the Western Desert. I'm very happy with these because they are made from pieces of scrap sitting in my garage. The only outlay was for some glue and cheap acrylic paint.
The pieces are made of stones, sand, rubber yoga brick, grit, and some old scrap insulation foam. The main base coat of paint (chocolate brown) was an old pot of emulsion paint I had on the shelf. All up this lot cost me less than $10.
The long ridge and the piece at the back are about 18" long. The smaller ones vary in size.
The RAF do a fly over to check out the new terrain.
